As an organisation, Staf has always aimed to keep the views of young people at the heart of it’s work. Over the years, this has been achieved through projects involving young people, from the Debate Project (2002 – 2013) to the Voices Project (2014 to present).
The Voices Project
The Voices project connects young care-experienced people with each other to build confidence and resilience; empowering, encouraging and enabling young people to stay in care until they are ready to leave. Click to find out more about the Voices Project.
Improving Lives Project
We are now building on the success of the Voices project, working closely with one local authority area for two years to help young people stay in care longer and equip them with the tools and skills to make the transition to independent living.
