Following from our previous Care Inspectorate Roundtable in February, where we discussed the rollout of new inspections based on the new Health and Social Care Standards, we are delighted to announce a new roundtable event at which we will be joined by Care Inspectorate CEO Peter Macleod.

Representatives from 25 Staf members attended our February roundtable in Stirling with Maureen Gunn, Service Manager at The Care Inspectorate. Maureen set out the process undertaken for care homes for older people and explained the process being undertaken to develop, consult and implement the framework for children’s homes. Attendees were also give the opportunity to review and discuss the draft framework.

Following the event, we published a blog on the draft framework, which can be read here:

In June 2019, this quality framework was published, 'set[ting]' out the elements that will help us answer key questions about the difference care is making to people and the quality and effectiveness of the things that contribute to those differences.'
