Project Return is now looking for people with care and or justice experience, alongside members of the workforce to join this project's steering group.

The care and/or justice-experienced members will drive this project by sharing their insight, knowledge and experience. They will have their voice heard, hold a key role in a movement for change and will collectively create resources which enable a supportive environment to overcome adversity. And most importantly they will have fun!

Their workers will be able to gain knowledge and practice from others and be part of a movement for change.

Our Project Development Project Worker, Jenny, is holding a taster session open to anyone with care and/or justice-experience and their workers who are interested in the steering group. At the session you will be able to meet others from the care environment, creatively learn more about the project and there will be pizza... because who doesn’t love pizza? We will also be covering travel expenses for those with care experience.

The taster session plans to:

  • Enable you to meet others interested in trauma in the care system
  • Through the world of toy cars provide an overview of the project, its stages and aims
  • Showcase how we will be developing the steering group, through a creative self-care activity
  • Provide a space for an informal discussion about the project, accompanied by pizza
