Before joining us at Staf, Jenny worked at See Me, the national campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination. In this role, Jenny worked alongside incredible volunteers enabling them to lead and grow a movement for change, which challenged how people with mental health conditions are treated by society. At its core this post heavily relied on co-production and giving space and time for those with lived experience to lead - an approach that Jenny is looking forward to drawing and building on in her post at Staf.

Jenny is particularly passionate about taking a human rights-based approach to the work, ensuring the people who are affected by the project have their voices heard and are continually involved in the project to ensure it meets their needs.

Jenny is fairly new to Glasgow, with just under a year of being an official 'Weegie', so outside of work, she likes to spend her time exploring Glasgow. Mostly this ends with her nestled in a coffee shop with a cake or two! Her other passions are musical theatre, which recently led her to join an amateur theatre group, and swimming to help combat the cakes!
