Hello everyone,

We are really excited to share a new project here at Staf with you, funded by Erasmus.

The Scottish Care Leaver Forum steering group will provide people with care experience between the ages of 16-26 with a safe space for active participation in Scotland’s democratic process so they can discuss and debate policy issues that matter to them alongside decision-makers.

The project will be shaped and produced by the steering group who will set the agenda of the meetings and decide what decision makers to engage with.

The project will also provide opportunity to partner with people with care experience from England to discuss youth dialogue and policy and influencing differences between Scotland and England which will take place during care leavers’ week.

The steering group will plan the Scottish care leaver event in December and decide the activities, agenda and policy to prioritize for the event.

We will be hosting a virtual information session on Thursday 24^th June 4pm-5pm on zoom. The information session will provide more details about the project and answer any questions you may have.
