Staf is the only membership organisation in Scotland working across, and including in our membership, all local authorities, plus voluntary sector and independent organisations. These include service providers, commissioners, Corporate Parents, regulators, educators and young care experienced people.

At the heart of all of our work, are the voices of care experienced young people and those who work closely with them. We support them through our work in policy influence, sharing best practice, networking and collaboration, and learning and development.

The Promise explained: what the Care Review means for the workforce

Scotland’s Independent Care Review has published its final conclusions. Five reports have been published and the main report ‘The Promise’ runs to 124 pages. To keep our members informed, we will set out the conclusions in a series of brief summaries.
