The grant – including it’s criteria, and guidance- was entirely created by a steering group of care experienced people, and will be assessed by a team of care experienced people, with guidance from our staff. Scottish Welfare Fund The Scottish Welfare Fund helps families and people in Scotland who are on low incomes. You can apply for a: Crisis Grant – if you're in crisis because of a disaster (like a fire or flood), or an emergency (like losing your money or job, or an unexpected expense) Self-Isolation Support Grant - if you've been asked to self-isolate by Test and Protect because of coronavirus (COVID-19) and will lose income as a result Community Care Grant – to help you or someone you care for to start to live, or to carry on living, a settled life in the community Aberlour Urgent Assistance Fund Aberlour’s Urgent Assistance Fund can provide cash grants to help families with children (aged 21 and under) who are suffering extreme hardship, including the impact of the Coronavirus. Who Cares? Scotland Winter Aid Fund Who Cares? Scotland are offering a one off cash payment of £150 per applicant to help with costs of food and fuel. Open to Care Experienced people of all ages who have left care, Kinship carers and parents of a child looked after at home on a supervision requirement, to relieve the immediate impact of fuel, material, and food poverty during the winter period and because of COVID-19.Moniack Mhor Young Funder's ProgrammeMoniack Mhor's Young Funder's Programme is open to care experienced young people in Scotland, aged 14-26, to apply for funding for writing and other creative projects.
