This training resource from the Scottish Government aims to give you an understanding of children's rights, rights frameworks (such as the UNCRC) and rights-based legislation (such as the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014).

The Scottish Government wants Scotland to be the best place in the world for a child to grow up, and an integral part of this vision is the recognition of, respect for and promotion of children's human rights.

This training resource will cover human rights in Scotland and internationally, how the UNCRC works, children's rights in Scotland, Child Rights and Wellbeing Impact Assessments (CRWIA) and involving children and young people.
