Privacy: Marketing Preferences Staf collects information from members, stakeholders and others interested in our work for marketing purposes, allowing us to raise awareness of our organisation and the work we do. Our legal basis for collecting information relating to marketing activities is consent. The information you supply to us relies completely on you giving your consent. Consent is considered to be given when you complete the online form to sign up to our newsletters, or if you contact us in another way asking to be added to our mailing list. What we collect Why Your Name This allows us to address you properly when we contact you with marketing materials. Your Job title This helps us to identify which marketing materials may be relevant to your role. Your organisation This helps us to monitor your organisation’s engagement with Staf. Your Email Address This is how marketing materials will be sent to you. Marketing Email interactions This allows us to monitor the effectiveness of our campaigns, helps us to determine what our members and stakeholders are interested in, and monitor your organisation’s engagement with Staf. This will also be used to help determine when your details should be removed from our system in relation to our retention period. This also provides us with statistical information about our campaigns. Our marketing emails are sent through GetResponse, which offers the same protection for your information as the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR. GetResponse acts as a data processor for Staf. Your information will not be shared with any other third parties without your consent. Retention Period Marketing preferences will be kept for 18 months from the date you last engaged with Staf.
