"at some point in your life there was a relationship, or a helping hand, or some kind of healing process that helped you to get where you are" (Oprah Winfrey)

Oprah Winfrey's report for CBS News looks at the work taking place at SaintA in Wisconsin, an organisation which finds foster homes and coordinates care for around 2,000 children on any given day.

In this article, Oprah interviews a number of people, including staff members, a young person and Dr Bruce Perry. SaintA has embraced trauma-informed practice, and now works with a variety of organisations in the area, including the police department's trauma response team and with judges in the city's children's court. This has developed a culture where traumatised children and young people are asked 'What happened to you?' instead of asking 'What's wrong with you'.
