Individual Associate Membership

Staf's Individual Associate Membership is open to people who have an active interest in throughcare and aftercare support for young people leaving care. Members include:

  • adults with care-experience who wish to support Staf's work
  • individuals who have left a member organisation but who wish to remain in contact with us
  • people working in the sector in a non-member organisation

What are the benefits of Individual Associate Membership?

Individual Associate Membership is a means of keeping in touch with Staf, so we will email you a newsletter at least 3 times a year. You will also receive advance notification of Staf events, which you are welcome to come along to for the appropriate fee.

Additionally, as a member of Staf, you will be entitled to attend any governance-related general meetings (such as our Annual General Meeting), where you will be entitled to vote on the appointments to the Board of Trustees. With the backing of 2 current board members, you could even be nominated to become a trustee.

How much does membership cost?

There is an annual fee for Individual Associate Membership of £25. This will be invoiced upon completion of your membership application form. Alternatively, if you wish to pay by card, please click on the following link: Pay by Card.

Upon receipt of payment you will receive a certificate of membership.

Can I attend Staf events?

You would be more than welcome to attend Staf events, such as Practitioners' Gatherings, Managers' Forums, Focus Groups and our Annual Conference. However, there will be a charge for attending these events, as indicated on event publications.
