Rosie is a qualified Social Worker with First Class Honours from the University of Strathclyde. Having grown up in care herself, she has a passion for working with other looked after children and young people across Scotland.

Rosie's career began as a youth worker for Aberlour children's charity before moving on to become an advisor for the Life Changes Trust. In 2017, Rosie was nominated by the CCPS to become a Discovery Group member for the Independent Care Review. She was asked to stay on for the duration of the Review, becoming a co-chair of the working group for LOVE and latterly as the participation lead for those with seldom heard voices and young people in secure care.

Since the Independent Care Review concluded in February 2020, Rosie has moved across to CELCIS, where her role now focusses on policy consultation and participation, supporting CELCIS to further embed the Review's principles of voice and participation into all that CELCIS does.
